Reason 1: Creating a separate fanbase

Customers are also human beings.

If you know human psychology then you can easily play with people’s minds.

Every person on this earth wants to look smart and a empathy inside him.

You need to take this smartness and empathy in your favor.

How?

See, you don’t want to talk to a beggar on the street. Why?

Because you think I will lose my respect in people’s eyes if I talk.

So don’t become a beggar means as a brand don’t be a cheap provider.

People love to join the mission if you give the reason for that mission.

If you know Nike and Jordan both of them have a separate fan base in the shoe market because both companies have different stories and missions.

So create a story.

People feel smart and they give their empathy, and support in your favor if something not good is going on with your business in the future.

Storytelling is important, it help you to get a loyal fanbase for your business.

Reason 2: Pennies Today or Million Tomorrow

You notice this thing If you launch your business then you get sales or if you create a campaign then you will get sales, but have you ever thought?

Why does this happen?

People don’t care about you and your business.

If they get a better deal from your competitor they will dump you and will go away.

Everyone thinks of their own benefit, not yours.

People feel you giving today cheap maybe the same thing tomorrow will get expensive so they store those things in their warehouses even if it is not necessary.

This situation tells you I need to make my business as a brand and for that, you need to use storytelling that helps you to change customer perspective toward your brand.

Reason 3: You Can’t Deny- PROFIT

As a brand or business, you are not able to sell things at high prices.

It is like Someone has tied your throat that you will not sell the goods at an expensive price.

Just Imagine- with less effort, by giving less time to your business and more time to your family and for yourself, you making an equal amount of profit as what you used to make by working 12–14 hours.

All these things are possible because of storytelling.

People pay a premium price for Apple, people pay premium prices for luxury automobiles, and people pay high prices for luxury clothing brands.

Are you thinking, Why?

All these brands create a story because people pay high prices in starting.

Later it became their status symbol And later instead of calling the product by the name of the product, people started calling it by the name of the brand.

In starting they use stories to drive sales later become luxury products by increasing prices.

A story helps you to make millions even billions if you take it seriously.

Reason 4: Storytelling is the OXYGEN of Business

Any business in the world its oxygen is PROFIT!

The more profit you have, the more competitive advantage you have and you can’t deny this.

Profit helps you to acquire the best brains in this world, the best resource that boosts your business, help in buying or destroying your competitor, and many more.

Storytelling helps you to give an unfair advantage and you also become a monopoly of your market if you use it very well.

Storytelling is not saying I am the Best or I am the №1 or Customer’s First Choice — You use these taglines when you don’t have an unfair advantage for your business.

Ever you heard of Apple or Royal Royce using these taglines?

Reason 5: Humanizing the Brand

Every brand uses people, and emotion in their marketing.

Ever wondered why?

Because they sell their product and service to humans, not animals.

What we humans have:

  • Desire
  • Wants
  • Dreams
  • Emotion: Fear, FOMO, Sadness anger
  • A trait of our ancestor

You need to play with these things and all these things you can include in a story.
