One year completed — 06/10/2022
In my life, I made my first expensive purchases that day.
With hope to start earning soon but the reality is completely different.
I remember this date very well because,
I bought this laptop after insisting on my family.
In Borivali(Mumbai) Acer store my Grandfather was counting Rs. 60,000 for my stubbornness.
Literally while counting that Rs. 60,000 money my eyes filled with tears because first time except education my family had spent this money on me.
I bought this laptop with the hope that next year in 2023 I will start making some money.
The plan was very simple:
- I will start a YouTube channel
- And April 2023 I will start earning some money
- That money was used to start my business
- Overall I don’t need to study further
- I will focus on my business and start supporting my family.
But in reality today one year has passed,
Even today one has to ask for pocket money from the family.
Sometimes I feel ashamed that I am about to turn 20 and have not done anything in life yet.
This feeling is really a poison, a slow poison but I always try to convert this feeling into motivation, and even today I work hard writing every day on LinkedIn and on Quora, 4 articles every week on Medium, and today I restarted my YouTube channel and start making videos daily.
But I’m consoling myself that — Everything will be fine
Sometimes things don’t happen the way you want, and when they don’t, it hurts a lot.
